In anticipation of Bachelor night last week, I experimented with a new appetizer recipe for my guests. It actually turned out even better than I expected - everyone devoured them before the night was over. This recipe is a slight variation of something called White Trash Puff Balls, which I found on Food.com. I was expecting a stuffed-crescent roll type of appetizer, but it turned out tasting more like a gourmet pizza roll.
With 4 tasty ingredients, this simple party popper is sure to be a hit.

You'll begin this recipe by opening the crescent rolls. After separating each triangle, cut each one into three smaller pieces and set aside. Then for the pepperoni...

First, slice all the pepperoni into small pieces. Then, you're going to mix all the pepperoni into the package of cream cheese. Because cream cheese is so thick, I found it easier to mix after microwaving it for 20-30 seconds.

Next, you'll put a spoonful of the pepperoni/cheese mixture onto the center of each piece of crescent dough. Then, pinch the sides up together to close everything into a neat little package. Don't worry if you don't use up all of the mixture.

Now, before cooking the rolls, I added one extra step to my recipe. I dipped each of the bites into melted butter to add some extra flavor, and clearly it paid off for me! Of course, this step is optional, especially if you'd prefer a healthier snack.
Then, follow the normal cooking instructions on the crescent roll package. I cooked mine at 350℉ for about 12 minutes. When they're done, serve warm and accept compliments humbly :)
